Olha Senyshyn is a Toronto-based immigration and refugee lawyer with over 10 years of legal experience, helping individuals and families navigate the Canadian immigration system. She works extensively with Ukrainian clients across Canada, particularly those who arrived under CUAET.

Olha advises on refugee claims, Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) applications, spousal sponsorship applications, work permit and visitor extensions, Pre-Removal Risk Assessments (PRRA), and Federal Court judicial reviews. She also practices family law, including foreign divorce opinion letters, marriage contracts, separation agreements, and independent legal advice in complex financial matters. In addition, Olha provides virtual commissioning and in-person notarization services as an Ontario notary.

Before immigrating to Canada, Olha worked as a corporate lawyer in Kyiv, Ukraine, specializing in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate real estate, and tax law. After relocating to Canada, she built a successful career as a tax professional and later as a lawyer with a boutique Toronto firm, practicing in immigration, refugee, family, and civil litigation.

In addition to her legal practice, Olha has been actively involved in academic and research work, collaborating with professors from Osgoode Hall Law School and Carleton University. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School and as a Visiting Lecturer at the Kyiv School of Economics, delivering MBA-level instruction on legal and regulatory issues in data analytics and artificial intelligence.

Olha is an active member of the Ukrainian community in Canada and is fluent in English and Ukrainian. For the past four years, she has worked as a program lawyer with Pro Bono Ontario, providing free legal advice to Ukrainians affected by the war. She is known for delivering clear, strategic, and detail-oriented legal guidance tailored to each client’s circumstances.
